I mentioned forever ago that I wanted to make a layout based on Infinite leader Kim Sung Gyu's song/music video "60 Seconds," so...here it is!

Today is also the 1st anniversary of generationXIA. This site launched off exactly one year ago on August 12, 2012, and although I haven't done much with this site over the past year, I still do intend to stick with this site for the rest of my life. generationXIA was originally intended to be a graphics request site, but requests never really came in and the ones that did come in were quite hard to finish due to lack of inspiration, lack of time, or due to some reason or another.

Therefore, for generationXIA's 1st anniversary, I've done some reflecting. At this point in time, generationXIA probably isn't ready to be a graphics request site. I wanted to make it a layout request site at some point, but I don't think I should just jump into it. So instead, generationXIA will just loosely head towards where my interests lie right now.

As a blogger, I've always tried looking out for layouts of my favorite artists or dramas, but they've always been hard to find. I'm not really a huge fan of mainstream artists or groups, and I don't always watch mainstream dramas, so often-times, I haven't been able to find layouts that I truly like. Maybe I'll open up some form of layout requests/suggestions or something in the future, but for now, I will focus on personal projects.

In conclusion, to those who have stayed with us all this time, I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart. *bows*

Hey everyone, it's been a while.

I'm still around, but life slowly started taking over and I didn't get things that should have been finished done...

However, I intend to stick with this site for the rest of my life, so please be patient with me! *bows*
The other day I was inspired by Kim Sung Gyu's new solo song, "60 Seconds," and I absolutely adore L, so I think I shall make the next layout based on that theme. As to when it will be finished, I still don't know, but that is my current plan.

I'm also going to revise the rules a bit, because well, it's not Summer nor Winter Break anymore, so I don't think I have the spare time to be trying to pull out graphics within a day or two. I myself think that my skills are still not that great, so I'm planning on lightening up on the rules a bit.


Although this is very late, I hope that everyone will have a great 2013!

...Wait, generationXIA has only been officially open for 10 days?! Wow. It feels like time is flying by, but it's really...not?

This time around, I've only got two promotional posters to show, and a REALLY simple wallpaper I made for a friend:

I'm delighted that blue_angel, the author of Friendzone stopped by to ask for the official poster-version as well as a background - to be honest, things are going so slow that I sometimes wonder if I'm even doing the right thing.
I think I might slow down on the promotional posters for a bit and focus on completing some summer ideas that randomly popped into my mind for the time being since summer's ending. (They'd never get done otherwise.)

I'm also gradually uploading all of these sample graphics onto generationXIA's Asian Fanfics thread.

In other news, Aitsu Sweetheart and Wild Days have been added to our list of affiliates!

So, the day has finally arrived.

Promotions are going slow but hey, I can't say I expected much. ...Can't say I've done too much either. Maybe I'll put up a little section later on for the collection of promo-posters I've made/handed out so everyone can see them here as well. Have an awesome generationXIA-opening day!

After two days of designing and coding and staring at the computer, I think generationXIA is finally ready to be open. However, because August 10th is Hey! Say! JUMP member Nakajima Yuto's birthday and August 11th is the birthday of my friend whose birthday is a day after Yuto's, I've decided to push the "official" opening date of generationXIA until August 12th (just so I'm not trying to steal the limelight of the people I know on their birthdays).

In the meantime, I will start what I'm going to call the "promotional period" of this site where I try to advertise by creating and giving out free posters to fan fiction authors and work on collecting some affiliates and making some friends.

During the promotional period, you can request for graphics, but until the site officially opens on the 12th, they will not be put up to be picked up even if I finish making them beforehand.

To celebrate Yuto's birthday and kick off the promotional period, I have created this graphic wishing him a happy birthday.

So for Yuto, please do wish him a happy 19th birthday.
As for generationXIA, let the promotions begin!
